Of course, inside and around the wonderful wilderness that is Yosemite, you'll find some attractions and things to do that veer a tiny bit off course from climbing, hiking, camping and the like. And our hotel's near all of them, including the Mariposa History Museum, the Yosemite Zip Line and Sugar Pine Railroad.

Our Hotel's near the Mariposa History Museum

Here you'll find guided tours of the Mariposa History Museum grounds, which includes two stamp mills, the Mariposa Gazette, blacksmith shop, broom shop and gold panning spot. Additional tours feature interior displays as well as the town of Mariposa itself, including the courthouse, county jail, St. Joseph's Church, Mariposa Town Cemetery and the Old Masonic Hall.

Our Hotel's Also near the Yosemite Zip Line

Located in historic Mariposa, the Yosemite Zip Line and Adventure Ranch is sure to give you your fill of thrills! With your feet in the air, a helmet on your head and your body secured safely in a regulated harness, you'll be flying like a bird over the trees and the town of Mariposa. Guides are with you at all times to ensure your safety with training and detailed instructions. Six lines, ranging in ease from one to six, are available for your zip line enjoyment.

Our Hotel's near Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad, Too

Not your ordinary railroad, the Sugar Pine Railroad begins at Yosemite's south gate on Highway 41. Trains just like this one once hauled the famously enormous California logs through the Sierra Mountains. Now, as you ride this locomotive, all you have to do is look below to see the Sierra National Forest and its breathtaking woods to see what was taken to build California and what has been kept to preserve it.
